Cinemateca Portuguese is Lisbon’s national film theatre that posses a library and a museum. It is known for the superb monthly programmes that pulls a great deal of crowd.
On a daily basis, the cinema displays two shows, which depict the history of International and Portuguese cinema right from the silent era to the classic Hollywood themes. It also shows the work of some of Europe’s most admired directors’ from Ingmar Bergman to Manoel de Oliveira.
